Packing & Weather Update
Update to all campers! We have been up in Bethel for a while and just like you we are all camping! We have noticed it gets very chilly at night, so we wanted to give you some tips for packing your camping gear:
1) You can bring tark to put under your tent, so there is an extra layer between you, your airbed and the cold ground.
2) Double up with sleeping bags, or bring thermo underwear and/or thick PJ’s for at night. Very important necessities are dry, warm socks for at night when you are going to sleep.
3) All seasons are paying us a visit… So be prepared! We have ponchos for all visitors, but bringing your own rain jacket is a smart move. As well as enough layers to stay warm. But don’t forget sunscreen and sunglasses for during the day, when Summer is here!
Please note that we are taking precautions for if it gets cold, and will have heaters in our Camping Circus Stage on the Holy Grounds. If you are cold, do not shy away to go there and warm up.
Next to this… However much fun you had during the day and night, please remember to put on something warm before you go to bed. Ow and socks! Coz being cold sucks. :-)
As part of our Celebrate Safe campaign, we kindly ask of you to:
1) Stay hydrated and drink one bottle or glass of water per hour and do not forget to drink.
2) Protect yourself from the sun
3) Have a festie bestie, take care of the people around you and don’t shy away from our first aid. We do not judge! First Aid is your friend!
4) Protect your hearing, it will make the future Mysteryland’s more fun.
5) If you meet someone special, make sure to practice safe sex. Condoms are available at the First Aid and at the Dance Safe stands as marked on the festival map.
6) And most importantly… Take some time to chill! Pace yourself. “Eat, Sleep, Rave” and repeat the next day! But do not forget to eat and sleep!
Access & Re-entry Restrictions
No one is allowed in the camping area without a camping pass.
Re-entry is allowed between festival and camping area, but not outside festival grounds.
Non campers will not be allowed in the camping areas. Non campers will not be allowed to leave and reenter the festival.
Festival visitors of ALL ticket types will not be permitted to retreat and return to their vehicles/ parking areas, and will not be granted re-entry once exiting the grounds.
The re-entry policy for attendees who are not camping on the festival site, means that once you enter for the day you cannot leave and return the same day. So, if you are staying at a local hotel, house or campsite, you can only enter and leave the festival grounds once per day.
You will only be able to make one trip from your car into the campgrounds. You can make trips from the car to the festival entrance, but once you scan your bracelet and have entered the actual campgrounds, you will not be allowed to leave and regain access.
If you are coming to the festival by car, all visitors must have an official parking pass in order to access the Mysteryland festival site in Bethel Woods.
Parking passes are E-tickets and need to be visible to traffic management teams upon arrival to the festival site parking. The parking passes will be scanned.
If you are camping on the Holy Grounds, you will be required to purchase a special Holy Grounds parking pass. For those of you who are camping at Lander’s River Camping, you do not need a parking pass. We will be supplying continuous shuttle services to get you to-and-from the festival venue.
If you are camping on the Holy Grounds you need a camping parking pass. People camping at Lander's and are taking their car to the festival need a Weekend parking pass.
Parking passes are availble here.
